Really for me it was Martin Johnson. Great Player, Wonderful Captain I had tons of respect for him in that role...

But with every fiber of my body i wanted to sneak up on him in a dark ally and smash the arrogance off his face with a bat! As an Irish man, I would have used a hurl but maybe some don't know what that is

To be fair to him, after he retired i grew to like him but with diluted respect. How the hell did that happen?

haha max, bit to be fair i always found Laurence D to be kinda pathetic. like a snapping dog. Good Player in his day tho. Would never take it away from him. but that silly grin always made me laugh and never took him seriously

I'm astounded no-one has picked Will Carling, and I suspect he would be rather disappointed himself! I remember Martin Bayfield once saying that in an England - Ireland game Carling's face got scratched and he went to the ref yelling "Look at this, he did that pointing to (who was that rather brutal Irish lock at that time ?)". At which point Nick Popplewell said "Ah, now, come on Will, it could have been anyone of 29 men" Bayfield said he had to run off quickly as he couldn't stop sniggering!

On Campese I found this, which you might like - I think the idea of him being Carling's butler for the day would have been hilarious!

For me it's Tana Umanga.

Undoubtedly a great player, but got away with so much skulduggery simply because he was AB captain.

In particular that spear tackle on BOD which ended his Lions tour, and removed one of the most potent attacking threats we had that year.

Any other player would have walked for that, but he got away scott free, not even reviewed post game.

Chris Ashton, Glad he got found out as he was unbelievably overrated and a massive **** also. Smug *******. Loved Manu planting a few fat ones on his chin.

Campese - never liked the man my favourite moment in rugby was when he tried his "goose step" on a defender and got nailed.

Ashton - much as I admire his ability hes a niggly so and so and agree with the previous comment it was great seeing someone smack him one. (I will add a caveat that he could still change my mind).

Henson - purely because he was blessed with more talent than I could ever have dreamed of having and appears to have peed it all against a wall.

danny cipriani just of a career
