606v2

Don't know if any of you use it, ja606 seems to be lacking much interest in the rugby department, but 606v2 is where virtually everyone from the old rugby 606 has flocked to.

Seems that the football crowd use this more and the rugby crowd use www.606v2.com more. Sign up if you haven't already.

Let me tell you something.

606v2 is a club house of conformity run by idiots who are of the opinion that its our way or the highway. if you question it you get stupid and childish warnings. to those warnings i say kiss my back side. to that boys club rubbish i say kiss my back side TWICE.

And to you coming in here and being a little snake in the grass have a good guess at what i say!

Lets give the chap his say.

What are the three main advantages of 606V2 over this?

I'd love ja606 rugby boards to really take off, its such a good forum just needs a few more contributors now!

Thats true, I fear to imagine what it wil be like after the season finishes and then again after the summer tours, a few more folks could really bring it to life

When there is something big on people pop in WC/Six nations, Heineken cup pool stages, but in the quiet times its just 3 or 4 of us. Such is life.

Anyone hear anything about cullen? Will he be cited?

I agree that ja606 is a better forum. The fact that it's the old 606 layout is what made me sign up to this one first, I'd definitely only use this one if it was more popular for what I wanted.

Like I said earlier, I use this one for footy banter and v2 for rugby. I didn't realise there would be this much animosity between both sets of users! I find the mods on v2 to act appropriately and sensibly, personally - not to say that those on here don't.

The volume of rugby articles coming through on v2 is far greater, which gives it the advantage imo.

Then i suggest u stay there.
As for the Mods here. they don't interfere. They are hands off and only come along if there is a serious breach. The V2 site is a warzone half the time, split with Waring factions and childishness from the mod team who are constantly in your face and don't tell me otherwise, as i signed up to it in the early days and promptly left.

The real kicker against v2 is that it is a forum built on a free forum software called phpBB. As a tech guy, i don't trust it but thats a personal thing. On a logical point, lots of the original members of bbc606 could not join that forum because they could not gain access to forum sites from their work computers as they were filtered by network firewalls.

So technically speaking this site is superior, the reason the other became more popular was i the beginning this site had some issues with there server and so a lot of people here went to V2 by default as this site was down.

Still we have a good board here, some of us get a little heated in our exchanges but all in all are respectful and understand that we are passionate about our teams and so can understand that while you might not always agree with someones opinion, it does not mean they are wrong. On V2 its conform or the mods will be on you like stink on ****

Fair enough, I didn't really see an argument coming, I just thought that perhaps some rugby fans on here weren't aware of it.

I'm not an obsessive user of either forum, it's just rugby is my main sport and there seems to be more happening on v2; whereas this is still the most recent article on the rugby union forum...

Honestly wasn't trying to force people to join; I would gain nothing from it. Just a suggestion.

Fair enough Red, so know you know we are aware of it. And we choose to ignore it. At least im talking about myself. i dont presume to talk for the others here.
