Ban countries from the Olympics

If so many athletes from a single country are testing positive for PEDs then I reckon those countries should be banned from the Olympics.

How else will they learn?

You can't ban an entire nation for the actions of an idividual.

Silly request.

It's only right when a country has a systemic problem as was seen in iron curtain countries some time back and as was suspected of the Chinese swimmers. It should however be a last resort as these events play an important role in bringing peoples together.

They have gone to the courts to over turn a decision. They knew the punishment when they did what they did, yet they have used a legal loop hole to get rights to compete.

Dwain Chambers is going to stay banned as he should yet the yanks get their athletes in by bucking the rules.

Because rules have been put in the book doesn't mean they are fair and equitable which is where the court of human rihts comes in. Chambers broke the rule and has served what many have decided is a just punishment and now he his being denied the right to earn a living which is onerous..

Yes it is. How can you ban a whole country for the actions of a few.

It is like banning English sides from Europe because Liverpool can't control their fans.

Ban those in the wrong, not an entire nation.
