He was a great manager. How fitting would it be if newcastle qualified for the champions league this season with this statue in newcastle last home game of the season being shown. That would be a fitting tribute to him.
Anyway it will be interesting to see the statue unveilled and see how it looks.

A total legend. I have a soft spot for Newcastle ever since the great man was your manager. Now I would like Arsenal and Newcastle to win their last game while Fulham hold or beat the potatoes.

They have a bit of a cheek unveiling a statue of him after sacking him. Perhaps they are trying to assuage their guilt.

Utmost respect for the man, but I don't think the unveiling of a statue is an inappropriate time to speak my mind on the subject. If I had posted that just after he had passed on, then fair enough.
A lot of people in football were angry at how Newcastle treated Robson - that's a fact.
