The battle of the Spaniards. Ferrer is playing solid coming into this tournament and he has kept his good form from Barca. But his challenge is a mighty one. Ferru played well against Nadal in Barca, but never believed he could win. Nadal yesterday chased down a lot of almost-winners from Berdych and hit many passes. This slow Rome surface suits his game. Ferrer can match him, but does he have the belief? I just hope he can for once play freely and win this one to redeem himself from the burden of too much respect that all Spanish players have for Nadal. Verdasco did it in Madrid. Maybe Ferru can do it here.

Poor scheduling continues. This one has the promise of an absolute cracker. Will it keep that promise? It may, but it just as likely it may not. It may end like the 2011 Miami semis b/w Fed and Nadal where even the commentators were saying "Federer is playing like he doesn't care whatever be the result of this match". Signs of disinterest and "tanking"? I can say that at least for that match.
I just want the winner of Rome to come from this side of the draw.

yeah, last month I needed to split my attention between my girl and tennis and that was uneasy situation So instead of contributing to the forum I have been giving training sessions to my girl You know the girl makes a man good ones like in Berdych´s case. He plays the best tennis now with his new girl. Back to Roma and the best player of New Age, I am convinced that Nole can win RG this year and that is surely his aim. Roma is from this point of view only test. He only need to be healthy, all other he has. After yesterday´s happy day would be great to see Nole winning in Roma. Nole, you are the best!!!

Have a friend in Canada, I always pull his leg about when he's going to get married, and he told me he had a girlfriend who he caught to play tennis for months and just when he got her to a decent player, and then they broke up !
