Was a bit of a non starter today in terms of excitement from the semis...a couple of flashes of beautiful tennis from fed but that was about it.
But at least we have the best 2 in the world, all sorts of angles of looking at history being made whenever they do get to play and bearing in mind Nole's record in GS finals the last 18 months AND his record in clay finals v Rafa I really don't think this will be as one sided as some people think.
Anyhow, congrats to both finalists for making it through, and here's to hopefully some super tennis in the Final!
Calm before storm

You know what, I don't like his bottle straightening, sock pulling, unwedgying, time taken between serves but I like watching tennis and all players styles are different in some way but that is the beauty of sport.
I believe if you don't like something, don't watch it, can't understand why people would watch it just to complain.

Jonty. It's impossible to please everybody mate.
Tomorrow we will watch a grandslam tennis final between the 2 best players on the planet. Most tennis fans know exactly what that means

Do I need to watch to complain about it? I have already watched enough to keep complaining about it for the next 5 years. So I don't have to watch it anymore. I watch it for the following reasons:
1. I love watching tennis. I have been watching it since decades and I'll do till I want to.
2. Their poor game makes me appreciate the game of the Becker, Edberg, Pete, Nalby, Goran, rafter , fed, Guga, etc much more than when I was seeing them. They won on skill, talent. These 2 can win only on muscles, lungs. I prefer the first. Now everytime I watch the wimbledon, Us open of the 80s and 90s on youtube or when some highlights are shown in "Wimbledon classic" on TV , it makes me like it all the more.
2. I am watching tennis mostly till Fed is playing, or hoping that the likes of Delpo, Raonic, Dlogo can revive this percentage play and it becomes more interesting.
3. I watch and I hope that someday tennis will change and it will get better.
4. Its fun to watch even WWE wrestling. Its fun to eat a McD at times.. that doesn't mean now I've had one, have to like it.
5. I don't watch it with as much interest as I did earlier.
6. I watch it to know more about tennis. You have to see what's ugly to appreciate the beauty.

Exactly, so why watch it?
Just feels like you watch it so you can complain, why is a bizarre way to live your life.
Just my opinion.

I gave my reasoning which I don't think you understand. Anyways under these circumstances, I don't think I can keep this conversation going.

That sums it up, isn't it? This is how the whole tournament has been other than few matches tsonga-wawrinka, monaco-raonic, tsonga-nole.

In Wimbledon, Novak won in 2:28hrs. At USO it was 4:10hrs. AO 5:53hrs. What better place than RG to complete a progression like that?
