No choice its the law. New club/old club still need to honour it.
Like I say it will be interesting what the SFA say but i would expect them to back the players on this in which case they haven't resigned, as the club is liquidated and a new club started.

They will back those players to the hilt that want to leave. Unfair for the players to have to make a decision when they didn't and don't know where the club will be playing.
Just like they will back those that want their contracts honoured.

I'm with you, the sfa will back the players. Buy in all honesty they need to get their finger out themselves and put an end to the speculation.
