Rain stops play

With it raining already and rain forecast all week, could be some serious disruptions to play this week.

They can start earlier potentially on Centre Court but won't be able to fit all matches in one court and it will accelerate degradation of court.

Will make for a lot more drama this week as well I think, good luck to all players!

but for these posters to say wimbledon are doing all they can to favour murray cos big ivo was foot faulted a few times is absolute tosh.

Completely agree.

Apparently the French Open draw is rigged too!

Did you know that every time you pick up a Babolat racquet it injects you with steroids and every time a ball senses it's playing someone swiss it gets bigger and slower.

i'm away on holiday tomorrow so won't be able to read anymore of this pash for a while.

@ they stick him on number 1 court knowing he might not get his match completed anytime soon and allow the 2 players left ranked higher than him guaranteed finishes for today.
-------------------------------------------------------------
I can understand your point. Murray hasn't played even once till now on court-1. Today Murray's matches would have to be contested against the matches of Federer, Djo and they won't have all the 3 mens matches on CC.
So where will he play? Court-1 , where else.

and as for the rest of my post, is that just to be ignored

Not ignored, but but now will answer.

1. Murray played last on CC on only once in 3rd round out of the 3 days. So its not like he has always been playing last.

2. Your case of courts becoming slippery with the day may not be correct. If it gets so slippery that players may injured, they just won't play. Did you see how some players complained if the courts are slippery in Madrid. Djokovic played last on CC on day3 and I didn't hear him say anything like court being slippery. If it was he would would certainly be complaining.

@the draw was bottom heavy with quality from the very start. top half mediocre in my view in comparison.
--------------------------------
If its your view, then its your view. Murray is away from both Djo and Federer and he has never beaten either of them in a slam. This in itself is a good draw.

he couldn't possibly have drawn both of them. fed had to be on the opposite side as you full know.

so how can that in itself be a good draw?

Polb,

just try to put yourself in Ivo's shoes, try to imagine, if you possibly can imagine that scenario, that Murray was foot-faulted ELEVEN times.

Hard to imagine, isn't it?

And if you can manage to imagine it, try to imagine how Murray would have carried on under the circumstances?
He would have had tantrums, foul-mouth, screaming and shouting , you name it!
So stop being so one-eyed.

Who said anything about drawing both on them on Murray's half. But Look what we have, neither of them is in Murray's half.. Isn't this easy considering his record. Sure is.

and as for all this conspiracy to help Andy, have you any shred of proof in this.

his scheduling is always the worst at wimbledon compared to the other top 4 seeds.

you accuse me of being one eyed yet you come out with an arrogant statement calling his style of tennis disgusting?

djokovic plays a very similar style of tennis to my eyes but as he's been more successful with it that excludes him from any kind of criticism.

just admit you don't like andy murray and that'll be the end of it

have you any shed of proof against it?
Why didn't Wimbledon come out denying it and provided video proof?
NO, they do a sly one and let Lloyd curs on their behalf.
