widnes seem to be just collecting cast-offs from other super league clubs, where are the much lauded (mostly by their own fans) youngsters we were promised??
the non-expansionistas constantly bang on about how the croooz , cats( wrongly ) and quins (also wrongly) are chock full of guys from down under, yet will widnes offer anything new??
opportunity missed maybe??

Takes a few years of blooding youngsters for them to be ready at SL level, the 3 year franchise will allow that as otherwise they would have been afraid to go down first year.
Think they will bring the talent through and they have a big squad to fill so a few names likely to be in first team that are not 'cast offs'.
