wondering away what changes should be made for the 2nd test.with ravi yet again looking out of his depth and the bowling attack looking toothless and to me swann and bresnan looking unfit.i would go with in batting order;
strauss
cook
bell
trott
pietersen
compton
prior
broad
finn
anderson
panesar
bell normally bats 3 and trott 4 for warwicks and would go that way as bell seems to bat better at 3 these days.trott would provide a bit of stickability to the middle order too.compton ive been told is batting very well this season and probably deserves a go.

If neon doesn't comment on ja606 then he has drunk a skin full and will probably be lying on a sofa somewhere, with his trousers around his ankles and god only knows where his right hand is
Good evening Mafiaboy, how has your weekend gone? Enjoying any cricket?

Agreed, but then you will be interested in watching him because he is English, not because he is a Christian( if you are one).

I was aware of that when writing the post, but thought that it was already long enough without addressing this point as well.
I think we all know that people of an islamic faith typically identify themselves more closely with their faith than chrisitans typically do. England is also a secular country whereas Pakistan is by definition a muslim state, having been established specifically for muslims to live in.
For these reasons, I consider it reasonable to compare a muslim identity to an english identity.

lol Mafia. It's a strange game and have to agree with you sometimes. The season is drawing to an end and Yorkshire have hardly a chance to play a single game because of rain.
I know where you are coming from sometimes lol

Mate you are right, this conversation is needlessly dragged. I don't agree with you when you compare identity on the basis of being English with that of being Muslims.
All the best for the rest of the series against Saffers!

Cant understand how Bresnan got picked instead of Finn or Tremlett in the first test against Saffers.England probably has the best back up of pace bowlers and its time to utilize in the second test.
