Why not darts?

As shooting and archery are both considered to be Olympic sports by the IOC, then why not darts?

The IOC are going to have to allow darts sooner or later due it's popularity.

Darts is the second most viewed sport on Sky behind football.

What would Stuart Pearce do?

Look fellla, i love watching and playing darts, but i do not want it anywhere near the Olympics.

Is it that hard to understand? It must be for some

The crowd (mostly pi$$ed) shouting and jeering out at a player, just as they are about to throw for a double.

We have enough problems with identifying drug cheats, we do not need darts in the Olympics.

Im with this though;

The PDC on sky is not the sole contributor to darts. The BDO is in complete contrast and order is usually very well respected by all.

I suppose all of the events currently held at the Olympics are alcohol free zones, and the audience behavior is impeccable?
