Collins I have not seen a huge ammount of in the last few years, but he was a great deal better with us last time than Upson who replaced him.

Realistically, though, I think David Wheater from Bolton may have been an option for you. He's still young and would obviously rather play in the PL than Championship. Moving from the north to the south may be an issue for him though.

I agree, nothing is impossible in football & i take your point on board that City could cover part of his wages.

In saying that, i get the impression City were desperate to get Ade off their training ground, whereas the relationship between Tevez, Mancini, the fans & the club in general appears to be quite a good one.

But as you say, i really cannot see this happening. And yes, i would be jealous if it did.

Well the Carroll deal I now think is as good as dead and a deal for Tevez is about a tenth as likely as that.
