DDFP's Transfer Predictions

Hazard:

One of the fastest growing reputations in football over the past few years, the lad is coming to the EPL !!

I for one am glad to see players of his calibre choosing to play in our fantastic league.

My prediction is he will score goals and create just as he has done in France, the gulf in the quality of the leagues will not affect him.

Giroud

Giroud is a funny one and one i feel many people are maybe overlooking him, more so than podolski if the lad can settle quickly, he will be a huge asset to Arsenal, Good technique and very smart at playing as a forward - a team player Arsenal will need going into the new season.

However the longer he takes to settle i worry that it will impact him negatively so i am curious to see how it pans out for him.

Marin

Brought in as an option for now, the lad no doubt has a gift, will he make a difference, i believe so yes, off the bench.

Will he set the world alight? Not yet no

Podolski

The experienced german that has a thundershot of a left foot. It feels like he has been around forever.

Now from reading through various posts from the Arsenal faithful, it seems they are confident this is the guy to bring home that elusive trophy.

However i think the peak of his ability left him 2 years ago and that he really needs to rise to the opportunity given to him by Wenger.

In the past he has gone to a bigger stage and not done well at all, for his sake i hope he does ok. Aside being good positionally i feel he can be a bit lazy at times which for a attacking team like Arsenal is not such a good trait (considering the amount of counter attacks you deal with per game)

Young, tenacious and hungry - with a Brendan Rodgers approval stamp!

Will he set the world alight, sorry pool fans, the answer is no.

Will he bring the effect of synergy playing with the likes of Suarez and Gerrard . .Absolutely.

Kagawa

Little Shinji, Is coming with a reputation from the German league of being a pearl of a player, he may not have the hype of Hazard but for me he will the best of the bunch.

Deft touch, super quick feet and with Nani and Valencia either side ... this will frighten most teams in the league.

The type of player that United have missed since selling Ronaldo, My prediction is double figures for goals scored.

I know there are other transfers out there but for me these are the players to watch out for - will they sink, will they swim ?!?
