Him leaving will be up to the owners.
Gerrard would like him to stay
Rodgers would also like him to stay
Agger would like to stay
The fans would like him to stay.
the issue here is not selling players, but the owners deciding on players being sold. gerrard couldnt have made it clearer that the owners will decide if agger is sold.
in my view that is a disgrace
Gerrard on Agger

Agger is not cup tied, nobody who plays in the qualifiers are they changed the rules, who ever said he would be on commentry is wrong.
they actually said that they sought to clarify the situation with uefa and that he would be unavailable for any CL club until january.

If they needed money why buy Allen when we have Gerrard, Lucas, Shelvey, Henderson & Spearing who can all play centre mid.
We don't have too much cover for centre back that matches Aggers quality. It would be suicide if we sold him. I hope this is all getting blown out of proportion

Fred its not just caught off side, it was widely reported when Carroll missed the game, they have changed the rules, look it up if you dont believe me.
I don't think Agger is leaving by the way

If Brendan Rodgers asked his Liverpool squad to push pineapples and shake a tree, what would Agger do?

dont remember the name of the presenter but it was also and didi on aswell. aldridge looked shocked when he was told but said that agger is a liverpool player so we should play our best team regardless

Why would gerrard say it may be out of aggers hands and that it would be up to the owners then?-
--------------------------------
i'd just like to point out, this isn't how things work. the owners could accept any fee they wanted but they can't force agger to sign a contract with any other team. if rodgers wants to keep picking him and agger truely wants to stay then i think thats how it will end up.

Owners don't buy or sell players
Gerrard didn't mean it the way you think he did.

Buck's comments tonight...
Meanwhile, asked about Daniel Agger the manager said: "There's nothing new to add. He's very important for me. I like to have a playmaker at the back. With Daniel, this is his game - building from behind, stepping out with the ball and making passes and you see his commitment to the cause.
"For me there's no update because we don't want to sell him. He's a player who is very important for me and it will remain that way."
