WHY would Van Perise sign for United?....genuine question, i thought he wants to join a club that will win major trophies? Uniteds time has past in this respect.

It would be funny if RVP joined Utd and Arsenal went on to win the Champions League next season. A bit like the Owen situation when he left Liverpool

City is the obvious choice if they wanted him
...............
Not likely to play regular football though, at City. City is a graveyard for strikers.

I don't understand why anyone would want to play for Mankini, there's no understanding with him. It's his way or no way!

Anyone else think this guy just poses as a Liverpool fan to try and make us look stupid?

KLS,
No understanding with him, based on what?
Is it because he's tried to ship out players he doesn't believe have a future there? Or because he seems a pretty head-strong manager with his own methods? Which have served him pretty well so far.
Considering the success he's had so far as a manager I myself can understand why players would want to play for him. I'm quite sure if you asked Toure, Aguero, Kompany and Hart for instance they would say differently.
Evidently, so far 'his way' has worked for him... No doubt he has and will make mistakes but what manager doesn't?

He's done a great job keeping everyone happy. Seems like most players really like him.

Greatteams,
Seems a real possibility, drivel like this is asking for it, sadly.

That's how all the most successful managers have worked. Why should Mancini take managing advice from his players, they're not the managers.
