Sorry I'm a little late but I'm on holidays and just read the reports about modric leaving. Have to say I for one am truly gutted he's actually leaving.
The best player we've had at the club in donkeys years. The only thing I'm surprised about is the reported fee which is a joke if true and begs the question why the fack did we wait all summer
The reason I'm not surprised is that this is our strategy. Buy young players with a sell on value make a good profit on them piiisses me off we have to do this and it's not in any way shape or form good news to be getting rid of the little rat faced weasel.
We haven't spent in the transfer windows for a while to any great effect yet still we need this money to buy players. Great in theory to have this sound business model but crrap in reality we are going nowhere fast

The fee being banded about has come from Madrid`s newspaper Marca, and they are now saying its £25m up front with £5m-£6m in add ons for Ratty.
I would suggest that it may be slightly more than that, it wouldnt be like Marca to try and make Madrid look good now would it
It also suggests that the reason the deal is being held up, is that Spurs are working on signing his replacement at the same time..

Rvp certainly more influential for arsenal than ratty was for us....even if we was a class player.....
It makes me feel a touch better to know we will probably miss Modric less....and hopefully with a replacement finalised soon we will be in that direct fight with arsenal again for 4th.....They have strengthened though but you can't deny rvps influence last season
