Liverpool had 51 more shots then Man Utd last season and scored 41 fewer goals.
If we dont sign a striker who knows were the net is, this season could be as painful as last season
Ridiculous stat

and at least 100 of our shots were from downing cutting in on the right, 30 yards out, blasting it 10 yards over the bar.

I agree, don't have a problem with how many chances we created last season.
Kenny signed two strikers for £58m though, and a midfielder for £20m, and their collective finishing has been awful, even if they have occasionally been unlucky.
But of course in your world Kenny got everything right.

Righteous.
I've never said he got everything right. I'm just realistic enough to know that it takes longer than 18 months to sort out the carnage left by Hicks/Gillett/Hodgson, and he deserved at least another season to work with the players he signed.
People are quick to criticize him for his transfer dealings but they ignore the influence he had in persuading kids like Ibe, Sterling, O'Hanlon and Sinclair to sign. Now that job's been left to Ian Ayre. And judging by his efforts with Tello and Sahin, he ain't very good at it!

How can you compare trying to attract kids to trying to attract full pro's for Barca and Madrid

The same principle applies.

Kenny was awful last season in every aspect of management
----------
The two cup finals we got to were just lucky then weren't they.
I know you're young Fred and don't know KD from the first time but he was a great manager. We played awesome football. We played 4-3-3 when others were playing 4-4-2. At the time we were playing some of the best football in Europe. That doesn't go away.
He got things wrong last season, but he was nowhere near as bad you like to make out. Have some respect.

You'll have to be more specific, FRED. Was his management 'awful' when we beat Chelsea home and away? What about when we won The Carling Cup? Or beat Everton in The FA Cup semi?
I know you find the word 'fact' difficult to comprehend but the fact of the matter is: we produced more chances than Man U. We produced more corners than anyone else, hit the post more than anyone else and conceded fewer chances than anyone else and we were only beaten once before Lucas got injured. I know these facts don't sit well with your anti-Kenny agenda but maybe they'll prove enough to stop you regurgitating opinion directly from the back pages of The Sun and actually engage your brain before you spout your moronic drivel.
BR is potentially an excellent manager but Dalglish is a genius.
When you progress from colouring-in books to proper grown-up books without pictures to help you, you may realise that yourself.
