Fuzzy, when Belle Vue closed, the club produced a one off commemorative club scarf for the game versus Forest - and another one for the first game in the new stadium, against Huddersfield. Perhaps something commemorating great moments of the Belle Vue past would have been a good idea, but at least they did something.

Didn't know about those Scarves crazy, but I did know that the back of the shirt in the season that we moved commemorated the end of Belle Vue.

At Winti, they produce a single item, say a scarf and if it goes, they make a T-Shirt then a hat etc. Its clever because you don't see them all available immediately. So a fan will buy the scarf and then buy the T-Shirt when it comes out. If both were available together, one or the other would be bought.

Since I've been supporting them, they've really only had one thing to really commemorate (the cup semi-final). but they've still managed to generate ideas to do more. When I compare with the Rovers, its just not there. Perhaps with Gavin things will improve in this area.

Sounds as if Winti are really switched on. Swiss business people are generally pretty good though so I'm not surprised. One thing that Gavin does seem to be doing is asking fans to contribute ideas - and so far, he seems to be taking any ideas he receives seriously - bodes well for the future (fingers crossed),
