Put out the fire, Maguire.

Ok I'll have a bash here

I've been wondering for quite awhile how much pressure maguires nickname could be having on him. Rockets, wizards, whirlwinds ect can have an off night, but on fire!

It was a fitting nickname when he first came on the scene, he was ON FIRE but after a few years of really poo results surely he must cringe when he hears the dude shout out on fire.

Maybe a less powerful but still awesome nickname?

Thoughts?

I'll just put a new one in the air for a test.

When I play I'm called machine gun McGhee, it's not due to my awesome potting it's because when I win a frame, in a fit of unspotsmanlike conduct I pretend my cue is a machine gun and shoot everyone in the club with it, noises included

I'm sure maguire could use that name with a bit more dignity, taste it, machine gun maguire

P.s. I gave myself the nickname machine gun McGhee

1 name that i have heard that made me laugh a bit was 'Miss-fire Maguire'. Bit unfair but was funny.
