When Evans first came in as a teenager he stood out from all of our players. I think he's gonna be an excellent player.

If you draw, at home, against Ukraine, and only manage to get that draw from a pen in the last 5 mins, you deserve slating.

Nothing wrong with slating. Better then pretending everything is fine and every tackle is fair.

Yes and if you lose with all the youngest do you slate them?

I doubt he'll ever play as a proper CM.
-------------------------------
Cesc is not a central midfield player. Thats why he now only makes the Barca bench. Cesc was being trained on the wing at the same age as well.

Oxlade's passing and spatial awareness are very good. Thats the basic skill required in a central attacking midfield. He is 19. His game is very similar to Cesc at the same age. The only difference is that Cesc was a little more creative in judging when to pass or dribble. Oxlade is of course faster than Cesc. Lets wait and see.

Oxlade is not a winger. And by playing Milner, Oxlade and Cleverly, I suspect Woy knows this and is doing it because England were heavily criticized for being able to retain the ball. By playing 3 central midfield players Woy probably hopes to make up for Lampard and Gerrard. Its an interesting experiment. The only problem is that Gerrard/Lampard don't have the goal scoring ability from deep they used to 5 years ago. So we have fewer goals in us as a team.

I know Lampard and Gerrard have been slated for not showing their best for England but individually I do think they have offered and do offer things that I don't currently see with the new batch of youngsters apart from perhaps Wilshere. Gerrard has shown he still has a great range of passing, and Lampard is always a threat outside the box with the kind of chances Cleverley was messing up. The new batch need to improve a lot.

Of course. Not slating but constructive critisicms.
