Well to be honest I wasn't expecting even a point against the league leaders; and yet here we are again with Blues surprising us yet again with a win!
We were dreadful against Barnsley last week, and yet we got all three points against impossible odds away from home at Brighton tonight.
Statistics from the game suggest Brighton dominated in terms of shots on target, corners and overall possession. And then Burke comes along with a decent shot outside the box and finds home in top corner of the net. So all those stats in favour of Brighton don't really matter at the end of 90 minutes: we got the goal, we got the points. Job done!
So perhaps its a "playing at home" thing that is handicapping Blues from their full potential? We seem to play better away, which is brilliant of course; but we just need to tighten up at home and turn things around in our favour.
So after last week's possible "freak" result, Blues are back on course and have reached mid-table already, and the season has barely started. There's still plenty of work to do, especially at the back and up front. But perhaps, just perhaps, we should give Clarke the benefit of the doubt - at least until Christmas.
Well done lads. Keep Right On!

We need to string together a long winning run... lets hope this is the beginning

Yes, a repeat of last season's 15 game(?) unbeaten run would certainly help now; even more so now that we don't have the distractions of the Europa League & League Cup to worry about.
I guess we just need to be patient while Clark tries to get the team to gel and play as a team with a plan rather than a bunch of individuals with their plans

Great result yesterday. It was back to the wall stuff (no pun intended) in the second half yesterday without them really having a shot that worried Butland. They had a lot of crosses and a lot of corners but no real worries.
Great goal by Burkey and glad to see him back to some kind of form after a sluggish start.
We have another game on Tuesday against a very good Cardiff side who beat Blackpool 3-0 yesterday and I would be very happy with a point. Then we have Huddersfield at home which for me is must win after the last home performance.

I'm prepared to give Clark a decent enough run but he does need to pull his and the player's collective fingers out!
We still don't know if it's luck or tactics or anything else so far this season!
