So I bought a restricted view seat in the Matthew Harding stand for yesterdays game. Mainly to boost my loyalty points and for the atmosphere.
So me and my brother go to our seats looking up towards the back of the mh stand and up at the overhang thinking at least we can have at least one half of decent action.
As we approach our seats my brother turns into the aisle and takes his seat. I look out towards the pitch and back down at the seat and immediately think we're in the wrong place. I double check my ticket twice. We were in the right place.
Literally a perfect view. No restriction at all 23 quid for this ticket and a perfect view
A great win and a great seat unexpectedly.
Thought I'd share
My ticket was gate 16 row dd seat 198 and 197
Restricted view

Cheers for that! £23 is an absolute steal - I might nab them if I see them available. Sorry in advance for nicking your bargain!

Gotta say I can't think of anywhere in the ground now that would actuallt have a restricted view. That sort of went out with stadiums held up by big vertical steel girders!

Brummie. Believe it or not there is one part of the stadium that I know does actually have a restricted view. It is in the Matthew Harding Upper wrap-around, but on the West Stand side (the opposite side to me) right at the very back where the electronic scoreboard being lower than the top of the stand does actually block out some of the pitch. Only a few seats are affected though.

There are loads of seats in East Upper that should be classed as restricted view that are not.
There are lots of pointless railings in front of some of the seats and I am about average height and they are right in the way of the pitch

Liquidator - Yeah I've sat behind them in the East Upper before now, you're right.
