Ellison seems to be clearing off to Southport (genius signing Pesch).

Boerts is injured and Darren Moore is 'unfit' (so he was fit last season?)

We have just 2 strikers.

Gilroy, Jackson, Penn, Walker, Preen, Malone, Winnall, Growcott, Young and Lego, who were all on the wage bill, have gone.

The bank account has had £200,000 put in it.

We are looking at Hughes-Mason who has a rubbish CV.

Am I missing something here? None of this makes any sense at all to me. We can presumably afford players (wages / transfer fee), we need players (needed them for pre-season) and yet we aren't getting any players.

I keep telling myself that there will be a flurry of signings soon to whet the appetite and I will despair at my own impatience.
