Todays racing for the 17th Nov 2012

Todays racing comes from: Cheltenham, Lingfield, Punchestown, Uttoxeter, Wetherby & Wolverhampton.

I have 5 selections for today.

12.45 Cheltenham - FAR WEST @ 7/4

Best the well touted Handazan by 12 lengths on his first run. Handazan himself has since gone on to win and frank the form.

1.20 Cheltenham - SIRE COLLONGES @ 2/1

Smart novice who had Sea of Thunder behind last time out & cannot see the 3lb pull being enough for a reversal.

1.55 Cheltenham - KING FONTAINE @ 37/1

A sketchy jumper but when he gets it right he has the ability to land a race like this. Running off 127 tomorrow, that's the same mark he was on when running out the easy winner of the Paul Nicholls chase at Haydock. Went up to a mark of 142 and took a while to get back on a competitive mark. Although he did run with credit off 140, when 5th at the festival. Was then 3rd in the Scottish national this year off 132 after a couple off falls at Haydock. I think he's far too big a price if putting in a clean round.

3.40 Cheltenham - BRICK RED @ 10/1

Has run well twice this season off a higher mark, where he probably needed the run at Cheltenham and found the trip a stretch too far at Ascot last time out. The trainer's form is red hot & he should be spot on for this tomorrow.

3.55 Lingfield - AXIOM @10/1

Was second in March over C&D off a mark of 100, now down to 89. Bound to be in the shake up.

Good luck & happy punting!

Good run by Our Father, took to fences well. Fancy Bradley in the next with Viking Blond the e/w shout

Both placed DDB, great race, i thought Bradley might just get his head in front. Cannot believe how soft it is? no rain all week and then overnight showers were forecast, some showers they must of been...LOL

My fella never stood a chance in that ground.

Yeah def looks softer than i thought. Could catch a few of the big guns out in the next race. I am on Hunt ball since earlier in the week, but just had a sneaky wee e/w on forpaddytheplasterer, low enough in the weights, and decent record around Cheltenham.

I backed Divers(n/r) & Fingeronthepulse.

I agree with you on Forpaddy. Think he has a great chance now.

Good luck

Terrible race for me. Ground took its toll on loads of the field. Al Ferof win well.

Great performance from Al Ferof. The ground has made a huge difference. I fancy Buachaill Alainn in this one.

Good luck with that treble tonight!

Forgot just how much Cross Kennon loves a bog. Great run giving the winner a stone.
