How attacking will England be today?

Today will be one of the most interesting days of test cricket, because Indians will be defensive. It could even come to the 9-1 field Dhoni used against Australia few years back.
Australia obviously put themselves in a mess by scoring less than 200 runs for the day, and they lost.
So, my question to English fans is, with the threat of rain looming large for the final day, do you see Strauss attacking Indians with some positive play, and positive declaration ?
With Zaheer almost out of the equation, I expect England to score at atleast at 5-6 runs per over, giving India 350 to chase before lunch.

Rain on the final day? why lie? as you know the forecast is pretty good. this thread is irrelevant..As for England being positive. England will be 450 on by the middle of the final session leaving India an hour and or maybe an hour and half.

The weather forecast for Monday is sunny interval all day, with no rain.

England need a steady, solid start then speed up later. A lead of 450 then declare leaving 3 1/2 sessions to bowl India out.

350 is not enough - India can score that.

No point in watching or listening to the commentary. According to Jack Bannister on Talk Garbage we are going to bat until tea time knock off all the runs we need without any problems as they only have 3 bowlers blah blah blah and then have a really good go at them after tea and polish them off tomorrow.

I always find it amusing when a so called expert writes off the worlds best team at the moment and is then shown up to have as much foresight as a weather forecaster. And they get paid for spouting utter tripe.

I think he is spouting a lot of sense, and it's going to happen. What game are you watching?

"No point in watching or listening to the commentary."

I don't get the problem. It seems a reasonable prediction - it is similar to what I predicted and it is coming true.

With a 190 run deficit on the first innings, you would expect England to dominate.
