Kyle Naughton

Firstly, great win today, should have been a lot more comfortable but gota be happy with the result and performance. Team spirit also seems high which is always great to see for us fans.

But the main thing I wanted to discuss was Kyle Naughton. I have to admit that I didn't think he was going to make the grade at Spurs but the loan spell at Norwich seems to have done him the world of good. He gets better with every game - looks good on the ball, defends well, no silly mistakes and also challenges well in the air despite not being particularly big. Glad he's showing good form and proving me wrong, long may it continue!!

Finally, happy new year to all spurs fans!

Will he get the rb position when BAE returns?

I'm honestly worried he won't return and will be gone in Jan.

Naughton has to. It's evident to everyone that Walker has been p11ss poor this season. Last season Corluka got dropped for Walker for doing a lot less wrong, Walker is not irreplaceable in that position and has had one too many sloppy performances this season.

Benny, BAE will return mate AVB wants his strongest LB 100% fit, so cannot risk rushing him back.

As I said, he has earned the chance purely on his LB efforts.
If Walker raises his game to something like last season as a result, fair enough.

The progression of the squad is that apart from your WC (G00n TM) players, in EVERY position, nobody should be a shoe-in.

BaLennon, Hope you're right pal

I genuinely think he'd be an asset in the current team and make our starting XI stronger.

Naughton has surprised me, I too did not think he would make it, but he was absolutely brilliant today. Great to have options at left back now.

Ironically, Spur last season said he may not want to return from loan (issues with Arry +/- not getting starts) . And yet, here the boy is, helping the cause thru a sticky patch in not his best position.

I reckon Benny will get a run out against Coventry. I am sure if he was fit he would be in contention.
