Please bear with us as I only just finished writing it and sent it to the editor, who will then proof read it and put it on the Leicester Til i Die site for us all to read.

Burnley 0 Leicester City 1

SUMMARY:
In truth, I think we got away with this one. It was a scrappy game where neither team played well. But after playing well without getting results of late, perhaps its good to get an ugly win. At times, our passing was shocking. Nobody really stood out for us, although Matty James was at the centre of everything, breaking up Burnleys attack and passing the ball for City. Schmeichel made a few good saves to keep us in it. Had Burnley managed to keep Charlie Austin on the pitch, it may have been a different story. Liam Moore looked a little hesitant alongside Wes Morgan who again was a rock at the back. Nigel Pearson probably got his tactics spot on by packing the midfield and allowing Knockhaert a free role, enabking him to support David Nugent upfront. I cant think of much more to say about what was a very poor game but have to commend the efforts made by the City faithful who had made the trip to one of the bleakest outposts in the football league on a very cold and wet winters day. To have between 12 and 1500 supporters there speaks volumes not only for the fans commitment but also how good this team can be, although not today, it has to be said.

On the journey back down south, The windscreen wipers were on full speed as we made our way from Burnley in the Leicesterfanvan. As we passed many flooded fields and bulging rivers, and many waterfalls as the water fell from the hills in the Pennines. After a stop at Woodall services for a coffee, we eventually got home around 9pm after dropping the lads off in their respective villages. Jack summed the day up when he said "it was a hard slog up to Burnley, the game was a hard slog and so was the journey home"
