SK Warne

I guess Shane Warne was never going to retire gracefully and time it whilst at the top of his game, leaving us with fond memories of one of the greatest bowlers of all time and being part of one of the most effective and successful international teams ever. No that's definitely not SK Warne's style, unfortunately he now nears the end of his playing days by making himself look a fool and bringing himself and the sport into disrepute.

He does have a Big Head. You should watch him more I think!

Is he the only great to have played cricket, SRT should have thrown the bowl at many batsmen in that case if the greats have the liscence to do anything they please, and yes not to forget those performing enhancing drugs, those informations to the bookies etc. I think the greats have an added responsibility on them as they very much symbolize the gentlemen spirit of cricket, as its the game that made him Great anyway.

thrown the ball at the batsman ?

samuels pulled back a batsman who was going for a run. that was the incident which breached the spirit of the game, not warne gentling lobbing the ball. come on - starting playing games with shane warne at his home ground ? and you criticse warne for being disrespectful ?

im very sorry about samuels' shocking eye injury, and obviously wish him all the best in that, but it doesnt detract from his antics earlier in the game which were the cause of warne becoming involved.

Each to their own mate, but to me he had very much evened up the things when he had the spat with Samuels later on, and he pulled his shirt too in the process. We have seen bowlers throwing the ball at batsmen in the heat of a moment. It has never been a sight as ugly as what Warne did. He could be your favourite but he does deserve criticism for this incident if its looked at in isolation while he has a record of other mischieves as well. Like I said being a great gives you an added responsibility as there are many kids that must be watching him and pretty much follow him, even if you forget about the ethics of being an international cricketer he should have acted his age atleast.

well i respect your views, but it's a mickey mouse competition that thrives on press exposure. if cricket australia want to ban their biggest asset while he lived up to his larger than life billing than more fool them i still say.

Warne hardly threw the ball hard. It was more like an underarm throw. Samuels was the guy in the wrong not warne.

That was a pretty innocuous throw by Warne at Sameuls, more of of a signal by Warne that if u bully us , we will bully you.Peope have overreacted to this, he apologized, served a ban and the chapter should be closed.

agreed,

the latest farce though is that cricket australi is trying to ban him from the final because of his team's slow over rates. what a fakin joke
