Schuey stripped of titles ?

Interesting article here in which Mark Webber talks about his relationship with Lance :

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/21240896

At one point he says,

"He (Armstrong) asked lots of questions about all sorts of people in the sport. I remember him asking about Frank Williams and, in particular, Michael Schumacher.

He asked about his preparations, why he was so good and how he had managed to dominate our sport for so long and so consistently. He certainly had an eye on Michael, even though F1 wasn't his sport."

What do you make of that ?

i infer from the bbc's commentary which accompanies the article, an accusation that schumacer was gaining an unfair advantage by taking steriods.

JPB Infer what you like. We all know what the filthy pig was suggesting via his conversation with Webber.
Get real!

you know what he was suggesting because webber has told you. webber is suggesting that armstrong was aware that schumacher was on steroids.

the article is accompanied by an analysis of steriods in f1 racing.

webber is basically telling the world that schuey was on steroids.

you obviously need it spelling out

think you are reading a different article than the one that is actually in the link bud , not quite sure where it reads that anybody is suggesting that MS was on the bubble pipe -

what are we actually saying then that drug taking was rife during the schumacher era ? , as sure as my dog squats on the beach if schumacher was on drugs other drivers would have also been taking them -
-------- are we actually saying that -

If you look at andrew benson's bit in grey at the side of the article, it talks about how beneficial steroids would be to an F1 racer.

Yet the article by Mark Webber that it accompanies is apparantly all about how he met, and used to go cycling with, lance armstrong.

On that basis, one might ask what the fak andrew benson's bit about drug taking in F1 has got to do with the webber article. The answer, I firmly believe, lies in the VERY pointed comment by webber about how armstrong too a particular interest in michael, and wanted to know how hw achieved his dominance. For me there is no reason why webber would have used space in his article to make this statement, unless it had some purpose. The purpose - it appears to me - is to imply that he knows that michael was doing a similar thing to lance.

Perhaps he just fancied him!

i strongly suspect that mark webber has not written an article with the intention of tipping f1 fans off that lance armstrong fancies michael schumacer

i understand where you are coming from but i just think you are reading / seeing / something sinister that is not there ,

the FIA were not exactly draconian during michaels era but the consequences for being caught taking drugs would have been pretty dire for any driver that was caught ,
would any of them risked it ---- i am not so sure --

im not sure either martial, but i can not think why else webber would have made that comment. to me that is as close as he could get to saying michael was on drugs without getting sued, and has 'this is a heavy hint' written all over it. i just do not think he would have included that information in the article unless that is what he was trying to imply.

as you say though, i may be wrong, and i am unaware of any other suggestions that have ever been made by others along the same lines.
