@TelegraphSport: Premier League clubs vote overwhelmingly to adopt spending controls, including FFP and a wage increase cap, according to David Gold #WHFC
Gold is pretty reliable for this stuff, can this get a multiboard admins?

Fair point - sadly, it's an inevitable consequence of the 'market' as it is.
The Bosman ruling rightly gave players more power than they had previously, but like anything in life, the majority of people will exploit a situation to it's full potential, regardless of the morals involved.

I agree about making the gap between divisions wider though Winston.
It's nice to go and watch some local non-league every now and then to keep things in perspective. I used to go and watch my local clubs Wealdstone, Edgware and Barnet quite a bit when I had the time. You didn't mind paying the few quid to stand on the terraces and at least get decent food and drink that's value for money and not the dogmeat and watered down rubbish you get at most PL clubs!

"you couldn't get rid of Rodwell quick enough."
and its quite obvious why.

I would have Rodwell back in an instant. He has been unlucky with little giggles stopping a decent run in any site. City can afford to ease him in unlike Everon(we always rushed him back)

I don't understand why Rodwell would have left to be honest. I just can't see him wanting to leave. He must have been pushed out due to the ridiculous fee.

Little giggles? Did Stan Boardman sit in the Gwladys St firing gags at him?

Toor...
Who would be silly enough to pay over 10m for players with very few top level games or international caps?
To do it once is silly ..
To do it 2-3 times is just careless
