Shane Ferguson?

21 yr old left winger who has also dabbled at full back, made appearances for the Magpies both last season and this one providing a number of assists with quality crosses (something that we dont get on a regular basis).
I suppose with the French invasion his chances of further appearances have been cut? Lets hope he can blend into the team and give us another option

He's Shane Ferguson. He's alright, doesn't influence games enough when he starts though. Bit too lightweight and has to improve. Got a great left foot on him and probably the best crosser at the club. Think he should do fine.

Can't say I have seen much of the lad. i think he is a straight replacement for Hall who has gone back to West Ham to have an injury reassessed and has been ineffective for the past month and half anyway.

If he comes in and does well I think we will both be happy, us because he will help us survive and you as he will have gained valuable experience and maybe ready better for the first team next year.

i have seen him play for Ni a good few times now. Good delivery by all account's (not that we make much use of it).

Seemed to play more at LB for the toon - was putting in dangerous balls from that position too. He may work well with zigic!

I suppose any player could walk into our team at the moment so I'll just be thankful regardless!

The big man will be in there tomorrow with King out injured so I am sure we will find out.
