England players stay or go ?

england are unfortunate that corbisiero is injured, the front row is the only area where england dont really have a lot of quality strength in depth
=======================
our first choice units cant match wales, let alone our reserve players.
I don't follow club rugby these days - and it appears you do - but from what i can see there's no area in which England could be said to have international quality in depth.

do they regularly have southern hemisphere refs in the 6 nations ?
===============
good point actually. they never used to.

To be fair, the ref was fine, SH refs occur all the time, due to their obvious neutrality
Englands scrum just wasnt powerful enough, whilst we do have strong strength in depth where we lack it is tight head - though Cole was fit throughout and number 8 and it was missing Morgan to anchor the scrum that really hurt England today
Undoubtedly, having Morgan fit, moving Wood to 6 and Corbisiero at loosehead would have helped but on the day Wales were the bettter and more deserving side.
We shouldn't pan our side, but acknowledge that they are still growing and developing, and will get stronger yet as the likes of May, Billy Vunipola etc are introduced - remember a shock therapy approach often ruins young talent - for example Matthew Tait
Goode was decent today, and whilst he probably isnt the future, he wasnt the problem today - nor Ashton who barely got a look in out on the wing the issue was a more experienced and more powerful Welsh scrum, though all those kiks to Halfpenny didnt help.
In the end, congratulations Wales, chin up England, welcome back Scotland, Forza Italia, time to answer the call Ireland and retournez les bleus
Its a great, if painful right now tournament

Matthew Tait
===========
he did go on to almost establish himself though.
the most out of depth selection was probably that Gloucester centre everyone had been banging on about I think he was responsible for every try we conceded in his game

Not in an England shirt he didnt and even at club level fully 8 years later he still hasnt found his former form
Twelvetrees was brought on when England were already 14 points down and put on the wing with Brown going to full back, and Care at scrum half so that is just ridiculous!

Agree about Goode and Ashton. Hopeless, Goode runs half heartedly and will never break a tackle. I'd add care to the list. Hopeless.
