Welcome to Ivan's Super Quiz, something I've decided to start for two reasons - 1 it's quiet on here, and 2 i'm bored
Each week I'm going to put out 10 questions. The points will be cumulative and the quiz will end at the last week of the season. Answers will be posted the day after the quiz with points tallied up. The questions will be varied and won't just be sport related.
Obviously this requires a degree of trust. Googling the answers is cheating and is not in the spirit of the competition. Also try not to look at the other answers before answering yourself. Honesty is the best policy.
I'll try to post a leaderboard every week too.
Week 1 Questions
1. Who did Aberdeen defeat to win the European Super Cup?
2. Who is the top scorer in the SPL as of today (3/4/13)?
3. Where is this season's Europa League final being held?
4. As of today, which side has had the most shots on target in the English Premier League?
5. Which is the only team in the English Premier League not to pick up a card for "simulation" this season?
6. In which continent does the river Ganges run through?
7. Who discovered Penicillin?
8. In which city did the first McDonalds open in Scotland?
9. Who (officially) shot JFK?
10. Who was king before Elizabeth II? (giving an answer of "her dad" will not get you points - I want his official name)
Good luck
