Whilst if we were to sign no one and sell no one next season we would have a good team next season , we still have room for improvment. There are weakness's which need to be remedied.
Are first weakness is our striker. If we want to qualify for the champions league we cannot rely on someone as inconsistent as ade or some one who shoots and miss's. There are a number of strikers who could cost us around £15 million including the likes of soldado (21 in 39) , negredo (23 in 36) and benteke (27 in 50( 15 in 29 in EPL) . Any of these players would bring the goals needed to challenge for top 4.
Our second concern which has arisen since bale playing as an AM as we dont have an out and out winger on the left. Im split on avbs latest decision because it makes our left side far weaker, and we loose one of our biggest assets two fast pacy dominant wingers on either side. However i can also see AVB side, when playing a lone striker , the AM should be the player to score the neccesary goals missing from the 2nd striker and the player which is the middle between midfield and the striker and stops the striker from being isolated. Bale scores the goals needed at Am whilst siggy does not.
To solve this problem AVB has 3 options next season he either trusts siggy to play behind a stronger , higher skilled stiker. He buys an AM of real quality who can score the goals and assists ie eriksen who would cost 15 mil ( 8 goals and 13 assists in 28 games) . Or he buys a winger who can play on the left allowing bale to have the AM position. In my opinion i like ince ( 18 goals and 12 assists in 38) and for 8 million he is value for money.
The final position i think we are struggling in is LB , i feel with Chisokho on the market for 9 mill and with benny only having a year left on his contract at the end of the season , he is certainly a player we need to make our defence stronger.

Please feel free to discuss. You probably dont agree with the positions i feel need strengthening or players i feel should be sold. I know some people on the board feel that we need a new RB whilst i dont with walker only being 22 and smith fighting for a place after a loan to PL team.

Let me flip it, why would Eriksen, who is moving from Ajax, sign for Spurs because of an unofficial agreement that has nothing to do with players between the clubs?

Chronic, still yet to answer why Negredo is a bad first choice? I cant see many out there that is realistic and better.

We share the same resources most notably some select scouts. The link helps with negotiation without any doubt. If the player wishes to move which he does I think Ajax are more inclined to do business with us.
It's not a knock on Liverpool sayin he would not join you. You have to have a bid accepted and I think we would be given the first preference.
Although I do think you will sign the centre back toby antiweld. My phones not letting me spell it apologies!

Really? Ajax, one of the most well known club sides in the world have an agreement with Spurs saying they have to sell their players to Spurs? This is what you're saying.
Barca have the same agreement with us....you don't know that they definitely don't, so.....

both scenarios seem unlikely, but neither of us know about it.
this really is a very very basic concept and i am not sure why you cant seem to grasp it. my only explanation is that you dont understand the meaning of the word "know" ?!
