Great game ...but, what it comes down to is .... Leicester couldn't buy a win until tonight ...and then bang 3 goals past us. Our defensive record is very poor, and in a division where most teams are very average as well, to say the least. Transfer that sort of defensive form into the Prem .....and the majority of teams would be runnin' up rugby scores us against us
There's a hell of a lot of work to be done at Bolton yet before we can even dream of going up AND surviving more than one ' shellshocked ' season. But at least we're safe ...so that's a plus, and we do have somethin' to build on

Congratulations to Cardiff going up.they have showed the way for us to go next season if we miss out-regular clean sheets.can see what df is trying to do but changes of defensive personnel badly needed.

Morning all.
Another bad defensive performance away from home. Luckily 2 home games to go where we've been a hell of a lot better (no goal conceded since the Burnley match). Plus it looks like Dougie is going to be plugging the team with youngsters from now on.
Oh and must be me and my timing but I'd just sat down to breakfast and a cup of coffee this morning and lo and behold the goals came on SSN.

Well, as is the way, bolton are the dream fixture for a team on a bad run. We've missed an opportunity to end leicester's season and put a bit of breathing space between us and forest and match palace and brighton for points. Fortunately the other results went our way so it turned out not to be a disaster but if forest, palace and brighton had all have won we would be 3 points adrift and 5 behind brighton. we will probably only get 6 points from now on, as i can't see us doing a smash and grab job against a very confident cardiff side, so let's hope that's enough.

6 points required at a minimum, probably need 7. Down to the wire... Fingers crossed.

Just watched the highlights of the game. If we do get promoted Adam Bogdan and Zat Night should not be retained. Neither have any positional sense at all. Zat has been better recently, but playing in front of Bogdan he falls apart and likewise with Bogdan.
The goals we conceded and scored looked like they were a Sun afternoon pub side. Imagine that side in the Prem going against Van Persie or Aguero?
Craives was unlucky but he's got to start putting his efforts to one side of the keeper not down his throat, but he looked our most dangerous player. I'm still waiting for Eagles to turn up for our promotion push - maybe next year eh?

Guess this game decided who would get into the playoffs after all.
