Nah it was my claim to fame until I scored the winner in a semi final from the half way line, then repeated it in the final.

Although the halfway line was probably about 30 yards in primary school

We got to go to Hampden and play schools from all over Scotland as a result, made a good account of ourselves.. Got to the qf and lost on penalties.

At school we had about 40 a side at breaktime,and everyone was a striker.

Those jumper goalposts had a nasty habit of getting closer together as the game went on......

Or if one team was getting pumped they'd either get closer together until there was a corner and someone pulled them up about it, or one of the losing team would reclaim their jumper/goalpost in a huff

Corners were eventually taken from just outside the post area.
If you gave a pen away,after 10 mins of the best excuses ever heard,you'd get the lad with the longest legs to do the 12 yards,lol.
Putting the ball through the window usually resulted in a draw.

Or if you blootered it in or wide and it went miles behind the goal you'd have to go fetch it
