5 more years of Stevo & Eddie!!

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/general/rugby-league/sky-extends-super-league-deal-to-2016-2330693.html

Good news for the SL, but not so good for the Championship, which Sky have decided to offload to the Premier Sport, for some odd reason. The SL clubs are due to receive around £1.3m each per season, but it would have been even better for the Championship clubs to get more from the Sky Pie.

Oh well, as much as I welcome to the extended deal, I'm not sure I can take take another 5 years of Laurel & Hardy co-presenting

5 years is a long time if the presenters are not to your liking, the same old every week.
I keep hearing a nice rumour down-under that even if channel 9 does win the t.v rights to cover the NRL, Ray Hadlee is going to retire from broadcasting the games and concentrate on his 9a.m to 12.00 morning radio show.

Which to me personally is the best news I've heard since Gus (the after the event expert) Gould has taken on a full time role at Penrith Leagues Club.

Roll on 2012 I say........

Compared to the BBC, i would take SKY coverage (inc eddie and stevo) anyday.

as a supporter of a Championship club I'm delighted it means I can get rid of Sky and just stick with premiersports.
