They're the 5 i'd say he's most likely to face

The reason why this fight was boring was because Guerrero was out of his depth. He only had one fight at 147 and to me looks like he was handpicked for an easy night for FMJ after a long layoff which is fair enough.

IMO his next 5 fights will be:

1) Alexander
2) Winner of Bradley and Marquez
3) Whoever will be the 140 king, most likely Garcia but that means beating Peterson/Mattyse and then Khan
4) Pacman (we live in hope)
5) Saul Alverez (by then will be the biggest fight in history and both will make $$$)

Kash number 5 ...seriously? Manny vs mayweather is the biggest fight out there bar none.

Id like to see Canelo vs cotto and then canelo vs garcia.

Dnt get me wrong I rate canelo, but he is being Kelly Pavlik'd by many. If Canelo was 2 fight Floyd, it has 2 be now as Floyd is getting older, and the pure boxing fans dnt want another Chris Eubank vs Calzaghe fight, where the old guard is outgunned by the more invigorated new one.

Kell Brook would destroy Mayweather

Mike the reason why Manny will not happen soon is cos Manny is on HBO and FMJ is on showtime. Manny is also looking for an opponent to fight him in his backyard before he comes back to elite level.

As for Alverez, he is the ayre to the Mayweather thrown and Golden boy will not allow him to take on FMJ now cos he will get schooled. I think taking on Cotto is a good option for Canelo.

Canelo is undoubtable the next big thing, but im wary of looking at his record as it consists of light welterweights and journeymen. The Trout fight is the level his record starts for me (in terms of world stage hype) ppl know (golden boy) pretty boy is retiring soon so in terms of making money, he wnt be thrown in with floyd, but we will see him face the guys floyd recently beat im sure of it.

Any 4 from that as a world stage fighter by merit imo.

I do thinkmhe can hang with these guys but im not calling him the nxt king in the 140 to 150 bracket until he has proven he can dispatch of these guys.

I hope Mayweather's next 6 fights is:

Canelo
Martinez - Becomes a 6 weight champion
Khan - Comes to the UK so I can go watch him live
Pacquiao - If Manny comes back and looks in good form having avenged the Bradley and Marquez loses in spectacular fashion.
Mayweather can hand pick the last 2 opponents and retire undefeated 50-0. Then he has a serious claim to be the greatest of all time.

i'd prefer to see trout as he is a skilled boxer and *might* give mayweather some trouble

I have 2 agree he is not the greatest, ali is the greatest. Butbgreatness is an all encompassing thing! Now being the best, well thats a different story, sugar ray leonard 4 me was the best.
