Hi Newcastle fans, watching MOTD I have often wondered why the stadium is so lopsided? Is there any reason why it hasn't been fully developed because I am sure you could fill the extended capacity.
Bit of a strange article but just curious.

It's affectionately known in the north east as The Scrapyard
It looks even worse from the outside, and I presume that they wanted it to look like a scrapyard

If the whole stadium was like that I'm guessing it would be about 70,000 seater. Don't think we could fill that
