Oz need 270 runs in 50 overs..

Aus End of Powerplay 1: Aus 35/1 in 10.0 overs

MafiaBoy's verdict: Hard to call on this 50-50 match. And winning the toss is more important. Cook will vehemently ask Oz to bat first if he wins the toss (I say prejudice). And Oz are not stupid to ask England to bat first if they have won the toss.

The weather will be bright and sunny and ideal for Warner and Watson to put up a batting show if they ask to bat first. England have only two left-handed batsmen in the team that makes Mitchel Johnson's job easy to bowl in the second innings..

Considering above scenario's, i believe it will be an easy Oz victory unless Eoin Morgan has any other ideas..

C'mon Kangaroooooooooos..

Root has the potential to be just as productive a bowler as the likes of Jadeja, Hafeez, Gayle, etc

Your absolutely right Marco that was pretty productive, great bowling from young Joe.

Australia are very clever here trying to play for a draw.

Meek surrender by the Kangaroos.

Congratulations to England for drawing first blood in this long summer campaign. Now that's a huge defeat for Oz. Hope this is not a sign of things to come this summer. It'd be one sided affair if it were.

Where's Rabbit and Duncan these days?

I always knew batting second would be a tough task. But, not chasing 270 on an ideal batting pitch is a telltale sign of weak batting line up.
