With Dortmund and Liverpool interested in this guy it's odd that United haven't been linked to him, especially if Rooney goes.

He is an attacking midfielder who is an ever-present in the Shakhtar side and has a great goalscoring record for club and country (for a midfielder).

I'm not gonna pretend that i've been a big fan of his for years now but having read about him for the past 2 weeks he seems quite the player and now would be a great time to get him before his value possibly increases after a successful time at a bigger club.

People are raving about him and it would be a shame if he went to Liverpool or Dortmund and we missed out.

Fair point and by no means do I think he's a guaranteed success but his record so far shows that he deserves a chance at least.

He plays as an attacking midfielder and if Rooney goes and people aren't happy with 'just' Kagawa there then perhaps he and this guy could find ways to co-exist across the '3' behind the '1' like the players at Chelsea do.

Apparently he is great at dribbling and running at players so with that would come the ability to play in a number of positions across that '3'.

If we get Thiago - and Rob, according to you it will happen today- Thiago is more than capable of playing AM too, In fact, some say he prefers playing there.

At theU-21 Euros, he was certainly very attacking. Add that to our other strikers and Kagawa, we don't need Mr. Henrikh.
