Perhaps most ex-pats, like me, consider all days as "Yorkshire Day", but my nephew sent me this link about 1st August:

Unfortunately, I was drinking a cup of Tetley at the time! We can get Yorkshire Tea in my local supermarket, and one of the smaller speciality stores carries the whole Taylors of Harrogate range of teas - they are just somewhat more expensive than Tetley!
Perhaps soon we should all be drinking Irish Breakfast Tea!

On the subject of Yorkshire I'd like to point out that the Swiss see fit to celebrate it as a public holiday.
They make some feeble excuse about 1st August being their national day, which I think is sweet. Cute how they try to hide their feelings for my great county
