Another twist to the saga

Firstly, apologies for another Suarez article, but there seems to be another twist in the saga.

What is going on here? Now he's allegedly signing a new contract?? He only signed one last Autumn. Lets hope he gets a good solicitor to read through the clauses this time.

This Martin Chaquero guy is the one that tweeted that he was close to a move to Arsenal. Could be more rubbish I suppose. Although he does say that Luis has told him personally, and with Luis being on international duty it could be true.

If he does stay, and apologised, how will you all feel given the he's been this summer.

If he signs a new contract there will not be a clause that forces our hand to sell, at any price, to any team in my opinion.. These clauses just don't seem to exist in England.

And I would be delighted if he stays and is committed on the pitch. He's our best chance of getting top 4.

According to the Press we are in with a £30M bid for Willian. I confess I haven't seen him play. Can he really be worth almost four times as much as we paid for Phillipe?

You can't really judge transfers like that. How much is Coutinho worth now? Is Willian not as good as Andy Carroll?

..........

They did for ronaldo and it was confirmed one existed for benteke. One even existed in the contract of suarez this year though it was not as stringent

So Ronaldo had a release clause of £80m? As far as I'm aware there have been no release clauses in UK contracts that have been enforced.

It works differently here in that the release clause would be for market value rather than a set fee and so it is difficult to decide on the market value with transfer fees being so ridiculous sometimes.

Thats just what i thought anyway and I am no expert so could be completely wrong.

I would be absolutely exstatic is Suarez signed a new contract and stayed.

It's not just his ability but the attraction it would give to other players that would possibly sign and I think it is easy to underestimate this influence.

Talks cheap people. Work rate speaks louder than words!

Safe, I haven't. As far as contracts go 5x, it is down to each party to decide what they want in it and for the other side to agree or not.
