moyes selective memory

David Moyes ,the world class manager that he is says he'd not stand in everton players way if he were still boss.

I'm sure the toffees are grateful for the advice but perhaps are scratching thier heads wondering why then did he fight tooth and nail in exactly the same scenario for Lescott. Why did he disrupt his sides preseason then to block a similar move?

Could it be perhaps double standards? SHOCK!!!

I'm sure Martinez has been guilty of hypocrisy before.

I just read the comment Moyes made. I'm pretty gobsmacked. I thought he had more class than that.

Buying a player from the club you've just left after agreeing you wouldn't.

That would be pretty classless, no?

I still reckon Mr Ferguson is using Moyes as a puppet

All I would say on the matter is Everton need to come out state a fee we will accept and give them 48hrs to respond. We dictate the value and fee and with the window about to close we can't not replace them so the clock is running I think if United wasn't this deal they only have a couple of days left.

If I was Kenwright though I would be saying publicly that due to the derisory bid and Moyes comments out of principle the club will reject any bid by United this window and the next and every window while Moyes is in charge.

I would also be getting Barkley on a massive 7 year contract with a £60m release clause as no doubt next summer United will come calling for him.

Also any deal has to be cash upfront no installments no add ons.

were champions, i would be dissapointed if we didnt sign but imo the squad we have is more than capable in mounting a title challenge, and from a fan whos team signed caroll, downing and henderson for a combined 70mill its abit rich talking about donkeys
