McMahons feuding...........again

I rarely watch the sad state of affairs known as the WWE these days, it's decline after 2003 to today's John Cena kiddie friendly world has been horrible to witness.

It appears that the main storyline now revolves around, once again, the damn Mcmahons again! With the added bonus of coma inducing big nose because everyone knows how he really got to the top!

Nobody wants to see this sick family on TV WWE. Even through the glorious Attitude Era this cretinous family with the exception of Vince stuck there unwanted noses in every angle and feud going. Vince in his prime as the owner was one of the greatest heels in history but it was when his less talented members started wanting air time it became hideous.

They even wrecked the Invasion Angle by turning potentially the greatest angle of all time into McMahon vs McMahon again. Shane wanted to be a wrestler and got booked as such, Linda was just a zombie in anything she did and Stephanie..........good god Stephanie. A woman so vile and repulsive with a shrill voice that would turn anyone to heroin.

Now there all back repeating angles from over a decade ago and back then they were getting stale. Add big nose to the mix and it's like 2000 again but with the current roster instead of the modern greats. Hideous.

Apparently it's all heading to a Wrestlemania showdown where the McMahons will get top billing and will probably be involved somehow in all the top matches including the final match. Who will control WWE????? Who gives a 5h1t!!! The angles been done to death.

So Wrestlemania 30..... Just like the one back in 2000 that proudly advertised " A McMahon in every corner!!! " to the delight of nobody will once again rear it's ugly head.

To put the final nail in the coffin Fruity Pebbles G1mp Superbaby will show Taker that the streak will not be powerful enough to stop the 5 moves of doom!

Ah right! I know he's been desperate for the Orton heel turn (who hasn't eh?) but I didn't know he was big on HHH. I didn't think anyone here liked Triple H anymore!

HHH is one of those u cannot ignore as long as he is a heel. He has that natural ability to be a right TWA..

The inclusion of HBK for Hell in a Cell is a good move. I'd love for him to fast count Orton and screw HHH, setting up a nice out-of-ring feud between the two.

Love them or hate them, they must have one of the best chemistries ever seen in wrestling.

I can see both sides of this coin. It's one of those angles which can come across as recycled, generic carp when you mistake it's simplicity for creative laziness - when in fact the only lazy plot device is Big Show.

It's not gone exactly the why i'd have booked it (I ironically for the OP would've had more McMahon family/Orton tension ), but the mere fact it consists of believable characters portrayed in believable situations resulting in believable factions developing gives it the advantage of self-sustaining as a story regarding of the booking, as opposed to the usual tale of WWE writers giving us an overly simulating beginning (originality for the sake of originality like Nexus) which sees them grasping at straws to maintain it's relevance.

As 'smart' fans we sometimes get to bogged down in the practical technicalities. We've seen this before! What big stars will this angle produce! It's making Bryan look weak! It's turning Big Show into a joke! Boreton's on top for the billionth time! More air time for Stephanie! And so on..... but the fact is I defy someone to mention to me something about this angle which hasn't made sense both from a position of narrative and character? Even the Big Show sub-plot is theoretically plausible, where WWE have dropped the ball on it is glossing over his motivations by simply referring to his financial woes rather than showing them to us (WWE's cardinal sin over the last 10 years, the notion that hearing something is just as valuable as seeing it).

I always appreciated the Orton/HHH dynamic - with regards to an unholy alliance being formed I was 2 years ahead of creative

I won't accept that

HHH may be married to the boss' daughter but he certainly climbed the WWF/E without their input.

Remember, Hunter Hearst Helmsley went on to form DX with HBK and was eventually challenging for the title with sidekick Chyna.

It's also worth noting that HHH has a lower win ratio post marriage to Stephanie

The Clique got Hunter to the top, Stephanie insured he stayed there. Pretending politics has played even only a minor role in HHH's rise is silly, same with Orton, but equally the idea that Stephanie was the catalyst that propelled him to the main event is rewriting history.
