Last night......

I must admit before last nights preview I wanted froch to beat groves, but since listening to his crazy talk im starting to edge towards groves! Not only the 'I dominate at world level' but when he said 'I neurologically cant be knocked out!!' does this guy think he is super human or what?? Try going a round or two with a mike tyson sort then we will see how 'neuroligcal your chin is!!' lol
What makes me laugh is how he accused groves of being delusional and nieve, what about you pal? No one is doubting your a hard hard man who is a serious fighter, notice how I didnt use the word boxer, tecnically your not great but your heart and power tends to see you home but that isnt enough when you fight a guy who you cant hit (as seen before), your slow and predictable with little defence with only one way of fighting!
Groves has a real shot of beating him if he fights the correct fight, frustrating froch and goading him forward onto shots, it could be a suprisingly easy win for the young/quicker groves BUT if groves trys to engage in the centre of the ring its going to be brutal with a froch Ko! Personally I think groves knows all this and is using this pre fight tactic of winding him up to make sure froch fight like a mad man cause he knows he has the speed and movement to side step him and spin him around onto counters, if groves has to go looking for froch its going to be tough night for him, but I dont see that being the case!

U GROVES POINTS WIN IF HE FIGHTS SMART!!

Froch is worried, I felt it during last nights show, when he said at the snooker table 'at some point he will have go toe to toe with me then I will ko him!!!' he is trying to convince himself that will happen, or hoping that will happen cause he knows if groves avoids that situation he can beat him!!

Froch has earned his respect from the global boxing community the hard way. But I would argue he now has that respect in droves. Currently Matchrooms biggest name and able to pull in big crowds wherever he fights in England, guest appearances on Soccer AM.

This is another reason why I find his increasingly embarrassing bluster in the build up the Groves fight all the more strange. He’s reached a point in his career where he is the proven big name; he does not need to do it. He tries to make out that he was not annoying or shouty when calling out JC back when he was about to hit his peak years. Well the boot is on the other foot now and he should acknowledge that Groves deserves to be in the ring with him on Saturday night.
Froch is an intelligent man yet he can’t bring himself to do it.

All this suggests to me that he is worried about Groves. Because despite what he says, Froch knows come Saturday he is in with a real live opponent with all the tools and confidence to beat him.

Just for info I like and admire Carl Froch but I just think Groves time has come; also for those that might be wondering, I’m not displaying a southern bias as I am from much further North then Nottingham and have no time for any Landan centrism!

I'm backing Groves. Carl is up himself in a bad way.

No such thing as cannot be knocked out, he is talking rubbish.

Let's see if his neurological impossibly holds out against a heavyweight, let's see how he fares against a light heavyweight. Whether its brain shake or blood / oxygen restriction...we all go to sleep.

Everyone can get knocked out if they get caught flush, and didn't he trash talk and start calling out calzaghe a few years back?
