The Bees V The Posh

Peterborough play Brentford on Tuesday night, seeking to reverse a rotten run of form.

A return to goal-scoring is a must, as is not losing.

Assombalonga should be back to partner Tomlin, a partnership which proved fruitful at the beginning of the season.

A win would augur well for this coming Saturday's home game against Wolves.

Here's touching wood.

We have played diamond, 3-5-2, 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1.

Doesn't seem to make any difference.

I think it's the players rather the system.

Initially it did seem like the diamond but Fergie has changed it numerous times lately to no avail.

Defensively we are not bad (not great lately due to the pressure of never scoring), but going forward we look inept.

Sorry, LRF - time constraints meant that I could not have done your league justice. I'm sure you will find a better Sunderland manager. Righteous has said it all regarding our formations.

The attack tonight is back to what he had at the beginning of the season. Hopefully, the midfield, which has also been inept, will feed them the ball.

C'mon the Posh!

Hey up Thorney! what's happening with your season? Wolves and Orient are flying. You were too up to a month ago.

Note the reaction in red above.

We're trying to repeat the run of seven defeats we 'enjoyed' last season, Wetherby.

A better performance tonight, but still a loss.

The Pros - two goals and coming from behind to lead 2-1.

The Cons - Gaby's own-goal, going behind after leading 2-1, and Assombalonga's yellow card meaning that he will miss Saturday's game against Wolves.

I suspect that the chairman will be joining Fergie pre-match in the dressing-room on Saturday to offer some 'encouragement'.

There will be blood if we lose badly.

Notwithstanding that, UTP!

Hopeful stat of the week - Bournemouth lost five in a row in League One last season, but still won promotion.

The first of eight wins against Wolves would be nice, SirKen

Oh dear,!an unhappy chairman, and a team that is not performing, not good.
We had a similar bad run last feb/march but still made play-offs.All need to pull together .

I listened to the game on the radio, TF, and we put in a decent performance last night, so hopefully that will be something of a turning point. We will, however, need to improve upon that performance against Wolves on Saturday.
