Huddersfield Town 0 Reading 1

A good test for the terriers today against last seasons Premiership strugglers...11 points behind safety and only 6 wins all season...

Reading had won the Championship the season before with 89 points and sit in 6th place as they arrive at the JSS today.

They also enjoyed 2 seasons in the Premier League in 2006-8, finishing 8th then going down on an inferior goal difference (by 3 goals) to Fulham, despite winning their last game 4-0..but alas Fulham won away at Portsmouth 1-0 to stay up.. Back in the Championship they finished 4th, 9th and 5th before winning the league in 2011/12.

Many of us 'codgers' will remember the old Elm Park days and a certain Trevor Senior who always seemed to enjoy playing against Town...when Reading were drifting along in the lower reaches...and then, Mr AutoTrader arrived on the scene and the rest, as they say, is history..

This will be the 37th league meeting between the clubs, and Reading certainly have the upper hand with 18 wins and 7 draws and just 11 defeats.

They also have a good record at Huddersfield with 7 wins and 8 defeats with 3 draws....

Over to you guys now...
