I Hope You Kept The Receipt

Mills was pants! Told you he had mentality issues. The fans get on his back and he falls apart. Hope he's not shocking next game or you'll be getting the finger.

Yeh but Mills is just a money grabbing ****. Just funny that he backed the wrong horse.

to be honest, I'm glad we played Leicester away right now. They will click, Sven will demand it of them, and they'll be uncomfortable for most teams a bit later on. We (Reading) are lucky we got this over and done with so soon, because had it been after Christmas I wouldn't be too optimist of getting anything there ...

Yes Matt Mills had a shocker today, But I still feel we have got a great defender!
I went to Austria in pre-season and Mills was awesome against Valencia! so Lets get this one out of the system, and get down ther e on Wednesdat and right this wrong!

He can be a good defender there's no denying that but I feel that his mentality weakness was exposed today and it may take him a few games to recover. That's what used to happen when he played for us. He doesn't bounce back well from a bad game.

Mills clearly felt the pressure and went to pieces today (not sure what that says about his mental strength), but he was hardly the only player to have a poor game for us. The team as a whole had a bad day and Reading were by far and away the better and more balanced side - evidence if it was ever needed that the sum can be far greater than the value of its parts. Their players worked hard for each other and seemed to be on the same wavelength; ours played like a bunch of strangers, which I guess they kind of are really. As daib0 says, we'll improve massively as they get to know each other but Reading are a good side who will do well this season if they continue to play like that.

Definitely pleased to meet Leicester today who obviously got a lot more in the locker then what they showed today, with Mills it was today's kind of performance that was always frustrating when he was with us. Would put in a great performance for a couple of games, then a poor one the next, and his 'party trick' of a long crossfield ball to the opposite wing was in full flow at times today, which would be fine if it worked reguarly, but generally finds the advertising boards more then a player. I always used to grimace when Mills was in space and on the ball then looked up to find the left winger....
