Glazers - Will they put up with failure?

The Glazers are obviously business men through and through and there main objective is profit. How do we know they will give Moyes the time to get things right like SAF was? Im not sure they will. Being the business savy men they are they know Uniteds commercial power will suffer if the team suffers.

I know with the long contract it would suggest they will trust Moyes but after thinking about it, I think they could be abit more ruthless should things go bad. They care too much about profits and image to let things go quiet for 3 or so years as Moyes settles in and builds his team.

Here's a piece from Skysports which Jeff Stelling explains how he thinks Glazers are the problem not Moyes.

Perhaps, Fab. Personally I don't think we were ever getting Fabregas, and we wasted so much time pursuing it when that time could have been put to better use ie., actually trying to sign De Rossi.

As far as I'm aware a stumbling block around getting De Rossi was that Roma just wouldn't have enough time to get a suitable replacement.

I thought Strootman was supposed to De Rossi's replacement?

And I thought Strootman was a Utd target?

Funny because some said he was awful and now he is playing amazing I have read people wanting to sign him! I said in the summer any CM would improve us.

Nah he was bought to replace Bradley in the starting lineup.

I must say I wasn't that impressed with Strootman in the games I had seen of him, but he's been very good for Roma.

I do think Utd need a massive overhaul. A new centre back, left back, deep lying midfielder, creative midfielder and at least one new winger.

Obviously you guys are clued up on the financial situation, and the implications if you miss out on the top four, and whether you'd need to sell the likes of RVP and Rooney.

I think it'd take at least £100m to revamp Utd. But on the other hand you could do a Spurs and spend it on duds

That's true.

Been saying it for a long time. The Glazers are parasites. never put in a Cent of their own money. Taken 500+million out of the club. We are hamstrung on the field by them. NOt sure now with financial fair play if we went and spent 100+million how that would affect us anyhow.
We need to spend plain and simple, the hard part getting the right quality of player to come.
